The effectiveness of Green Malay for treating depression can be attributed to its high alkaloid content. It’s because of this extreme potency and euphoric effects that make this strain incredibly popular.

Take too much kratom of any kind and you’ll either find yourself experiencing intense drowsiness or worst case scenario a nauseous headache. Luckily, a new user doesn’t need to ingest the same amount of kratom as an avid user because they’re tolerance is still very low.

The reason why I’m emphasizing the euphoria so much is because (when you’re depressed) it feels like instant relief. It’s my favorite kratom effect and primary reason for using it.
It feels like a huge weight is taken off your shoulders. The best way I can describe it is like an intense surge of optimism. But what if you don’t experience a euphoria? Not to worry.
Regardless of wether you experience a euphoria or not, the time period for depression relief remains 3-5 hours.
Feel free to choose whichever method is most convenient for you. And remember, if you like one method more than the others, but it packs less of a punch, you can always slightly increase the dosage size, .5 – 1g would be an ideal increase.
If you have the time (and patience) or you’re just a huge fan of teas, this may be your preferred method of ingestion. Kratom teas taste similar to Matcha. They have a very bitter, earthy, dry, taste but can be incredibly relaxing.
Due to the mood boost, many people enjoy a cup of Green Malay tea in the morning to jumpstart the day. It can be compared to drinking a cup of joe in the morning plus the additional euphoric sensation.

Unfortunately, this form of consuming kratom is the weakest of all three (depending on how fast you drink your tea). So, if you’re looking to obtain stronger effects kratom tea may not be for you.
